The MRI Scan They DeserveThe Siemen's MAGNETOM Espree MRI at Greater Flint MRI has a 25 inch Open Bore design that can accommodate more types of patients than any other 1.5 Tesla system, including the obese. Our MRI has more signal-to-noise ratio and is two times stronger than traditional vertical field open magnets (sometimes referred to as the tanning bed style in which the sides are open), and comfortably accommodates patients up to 600 pounds. This results in larger patients getting more advanced imaging techniques that they need and deserve- in a space that makes them comfortable and relaxed. Physicians can rest assured that the 1.5 Tesla images will be clear and results will be concise. Disease states that accompany the obese include: lumbar spine, disk herniation, knee problems and cardiovascular disease. |
