The radiologist will study the images produced from your scan and dictate a report. It is important to note that if you have had prior imaging (MRI, CT, radiologic, or surgery) of the area scanned, that copies of these films and reports need to be reviewed by the Radiologists in order to ensure the most accurate report of findings. This report will then be forwarded to your referring and/or primary physicians who will then report the results to the patient and discuss whether there is a need for further analysis and treatment. Our Technicians and on-site radiologists are not able to report any initial or preliminary findings to the patient or family member.
Copies of films are available to the patient after the Radiologist has completed the report. Please call 810-230-2411 to request a copy of your films, or CD images, and please give at least 24 hours notice
