BREAST MRI/GUIDED BIOPSY
Breast MRIs are recommended by the American Cancer society for high risk patients- both women and men. The Mid-Michigan Breast MRI & Biopsy Center of Greater Flint MRI produces 2D and 3D high resolution images of the breast and chest wall allowing detection of cancerous formations not visible in mammography. Patients find their experience to be very comfortable because of the Open Bore design of the Siemens MAGNETOME Espree MRI. Dr. Linda Lawrence is the areas only female, board certified radiologist, fellowship trained in women’s imaging. On-table biopsies using the Breast Biopsy Array Coil are performed exclusively by Dr. Lawrence.
